I was born (1947)
and raised in a small country town in Australia . I graduated with
a degree in surveying, my career has led me to live and work in a
wide variety of places both in Australia and elsewhere on this
beautiful planet . I was a self taught photographer until I could
see it was necessary to learn a lot more and attended photographic
classes. Over the course of many years, my love for capturing ,
“The Picture”, remained strong, then with the advent of
Photoshop my fascination with photography turned to passion, I
realised that my creativity was limited only by my ability to
imagine. I studied portraiture and Polaroid image transfer art in
New York with Peter Balazsy and discovered the nude . In many ways
nudity is the pure essence of art . My artistic passion is now
focused on the fine art nude and portrait photography . For the
most part I photograph women because the aesthetic form of the
female body inspires me , so I let my mind go free , for me , the
female nude is the most compelling and provocative; It is perhaps
natures finest form . I am forever grateful to the women who have
shared their beauty through my camera , they are very special and
, perhaps the most liberated of all , they are free to express
themselves and not ashamed of their beauty.
