Einen
phantasievollen, handwerklich anspruchsvollen und höchst kreativen
Umgang mit dem Thema Erotik beweist der amerikanische Künstler
T. Michael Pierce mir seinen vorliegenden Arbeiten. Mal
sinnliche Aktstudie, mal aufreizendes erotisches Pinup - seine
Bilder sind eindrucksvolle Momentaufnahmen erotischer
Situationen, Begebenheiten und Vorstellungen, die sich irgendwo
zwischen Phantasie und Wirklichkeit bewegen.

Born in southeast
Louisiana in 1966, T.Michael Pierce became interested with erotica
and mythical themes at a very early age . His father is an artist
and steel welder. His mother was a hairdresser. He is the oldest
of two children. Pierce received top grades in art from elementary
school and onwards. Leaving for Florida in 1986 to enter a career
as a beach artist, he studies with other artists such as R.
Champange, E. Poole, T. Mitchell, R. Hernandez, and D. Wheeler,
friends in techniques of realistic painting and drawing. Infuences
in art and thought are Michelangelo, Salvador Dali, C. G. Jung,
and Camille Paglia.
Received best of show in '88 from the PAA and was recognized in
several national art publications by the age of 21. He has not
received any formal artistic training. Ten years
later, in 1996 Pierce leaves the beach scenes for a studio to
become a fine erotic artist. He is currently working as a interior
theme designer specializing in nightclubs,
resturants, sign
painting,and still finding time for personal canvas painting.
Original artworks are found only here and in St. Petersburg
galleries. He currently now lives near the beach with his wife,
Alicia and their two cats Fluffy and Pookie.
